Jean Rogers<\/b>, CEO of SASB, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, was one of our featured speakers<\/a> at last year’s 2015 BSAS Sustainable Investing seminar. We wanted to build on the response to Jean’s presentation and the progress SASB continues to make in rolling out these standards focused on helping public corporations disclose material, decision-useful information to investors.<\/p>\n

\"sasb_logo_rgb-300px\"We came up with the idea of a hands-on workshop focused on how investment practitioners can begin using SASB standards in valuation. It was a good fit for many in our seminar audience. The leadership and staff at SASB were enthusiastic. It just wasn’t possible to devote the necessary time for a practitioner’s workshop during this year’s Sustainable Investing seminar itself, (nor could we imagine a “hands-on” workshop with 150 or so attendees). We could, however, do a workshop in conjunction with the seminar.<\/p>\n
