The Outlook for Green Investing – Lessons from Overseas Markets

April 29, 2010 @ 12:15 pm - 2:00 pm

The SRI program committee of the Boston Security Analysts Society is pleased to present “The Outlook for Green Investing: What Can We Learn From Overseas Markets” on April 29th.

The program will feature Jack Robinson, President and Chief Investment Officer of Winslow Management Company, and Sara Elford, Sustainability Research Analyst at Canaccord Adams.

Jack Robinson will highlight developments in environmental investing over the last few decades and will share his insights into the outlook for this sector, including which areas look most promising, (such as the smart grid, carbon trading, clean tech, and energy efficiency). He will also cover whether legislative changes and other macro drivers are critical for the sector’s growth. Sara Elford, ranked Canada’s #2 stock picker for diversified industrials by Star Mine, will discuss a number of attractive stock ideas and provide insights into environmental investing trends in Europe and possible implications for the US.

This lunch program will be held at the Harvard Club of Boston at One Federal Street. The cost is $40 for BSAS members and $70 for non-members. Details and registration are available here at the BSAS web site.
