Unlocking Energy Innovation: How America Can Build a Low Cost, Low-Carbon Energy System

April 17, 2012 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The U.S. has always been in the forefront of innovation – from Thomas Edison to Steve Jobs. But the energy and environmental challenges of today exceed anything we have faced before: the threat of global climate change combined with the need to meet the growing demand for affordable and reliable energy. MIT Professor Richard Lester believes we need a new model of accelerated innovation to fundamentally transform our energy production, delivery and use on a global scale.

Presented by Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC) and Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
